Spying on people who are entrusted with vital responsibilities is not out of place. But there should be limit to that. There should be boundaries. You have a boss
Having a boss alone means that there is someone that is keenly interested in what you do. Bosses want to be sure that you don’t shortchange them. They want to know how diligent and loyal you are to the organization even in your private space. So they device many means to spy on you.
Lookout for CCTV
if there is CCTV cameras in your office and around your work environment, you are likely being watched. But the usefulness of such installations is beyond just spying on you.
Do you use office Wi-Fi?
You might innocently be enjoying free internet connection from your workplace. But hey! there’s no free food even in Freetown. Chances are that you’re being spied on if you use the free Wi-Fi provided by your employer.
Do you communicate with official email?
If yes, bear in mind that every mail you send and receive are likely monitored. Be mindful of what you share.
Is your official line same as your private line?
Don’t make that mistake. There are some personal information you wouldn’t want others to eavesdrop into, using the same contact for private and official purposes gives you off… You’re likely monitored.
Have you ever been instructed never to off your data or your phone?
If you have ever received such instructions, then you’re 99% likely being monitored in real time.
Have you ever been asked for your phone by your boss or IT personel?
If yes, it was to install spy apps in your phone. So your communications are monitored.
Do you have IT department?
If you do, know that their job does not end at maintaining IT equipments. Spying on staff is part of their job description and they are most likely doing it as far as they are receiving their pay.
Do you use officially provided gadgets like phones and computers?
If yes, they come pre-installed with spy programs and applications. So be mindful of what you do with them and were you go with them.
Does your phone behave abnormally?
From when you started working in that place, your battery no longer last long, you see some apps you don’t recognize, your phone start lagging and hanging and many other behaviors. If you notice those things, chances are that you are being spied upon. But bear in mind that it could be other causes aside being monitored that results in those phones misbehavior.
When you table a matter you thought was private to your boss but he is not surprised or tells you he knows already.
Imagine going to take permission and your boss tells you he knows you were coming or tells you why you came? It is because he had probably read the interview invite mailed to you or read the chat you had with your relative about their health or anything Similar.
